* Individuals applying for a study permit or work permit who also require a temporary resident visa should pay only the fee applicable for the study permit or work permit. F) Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

This fee is payable by principal applicants (with some exceptions) and accompanying spouses and common-law partners. It must be paid before the immigrant visa is issued overseas or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

Please note that you are responsible for the payment of any service charge levied by the bank. You must transfer the exact amount stated in the fee schedule (do not use any other exchange rate, do not add any other fee).

The payment of visa fees at a bank must be made before you submit your application. You must include the original remittance receipt with your application. The following form of payments are not accepted: Internet banking, cheque, postal money order, cash, credit card, etc., applications with incorrect form of payment will be returned unprocessed.

IF YOU ARE PAYING FROM ABROAD

Fees must be paid in Canadian dollars by certified cheque, bank draft or money order to the Receiver General for Canada; it must be payable to a bank in Canada.
