Registration of Canadians Abroad (ROCA)

Please note that a new upgraded system has been launched. If you previously registered before December 14, 2008, you MUST register again in order to receive further safety and security updates.

All Canadian citizens residing/visiting in Japan are encouraged to register with the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo.

The purpose of registration is to facilitate communications with Canadian residents in Japan in case of natural disasters/local emergencies.

The information you provide is protected under the provisions of the Privacy Act and will not be used for other purposes or otherwise divulged to any persons or governmental agencies.
